  • In this case Coiling is an ideal styling method because of her tight curl and z-pattern formation. Coiling will create a cylindrical, consistent curl.

      TOOLS
    • Curly Buttercreme
    • Spray Bottle for rewetting the hair
    • Butterfly clips used for sectioning the hair
    • Comb for parting the hair
    • Flat paddle brush for detangling

  • STEP 1
    Natural hair before
    coil out.
  • STEP 2
    Apply ½ a lid full of Curly Buttercreme® all over to damp hair. Coil into small sections.
  • STEP 3
    Dry under a hooded dryer or air-dry. Front view fully coiled.
  • STEP 4
    Backview fully coiled.
  • STEP 5
    Separate each coil into 5 sections. This will eliminate the ”parts.”
  • STEP 6
    Lift the hair at the root with your fingers to create fullness.
  • STEP 7
    Stretch out the coil by using a blowdryer to blast heat at the root ¼ down the hairshaft. for a few seconds.

    Beautiful!
